Silverfish and paperfish control

Silverfish and firebrats are common household pests that thrive in damp and undisturbed areas. They can damage paper, wallpaper, and books. It is advisable to begin control efforts early, before the problem grows more serious.

  • Silverfish – A silvery-grey, flat, and scaly insect, approximately 1 cm long. It moves quickly and prefers humid areas such as bathrooms and kitchens. Often seen at night.

  • Paperfish – Resembles a silverfish in appearance but is slightly larger and usually darker. It moves quickly, hides effectively, and is capable of living in dry areas as well. Often found in bedrooms, living rooms, or near bookshelves and stored documents.
